Tablet Dashboard Mount for 7 inch tablet?

Hey, had a quick search to see if anyone has found a good solution for a nexus 7 dash mounted setup but couldn't find any solid recommendations.

Does anyone have any links to some good dash mounted units? I imagine those suction pads on a wire from the windscreen wouldn't look very good.

Not to sure if they have what you need exactly but there definitely worth looking at loads of clever good looking holders for most thing.

Google search Brodit mounts very good and sturdy that's what I use dsldevelopments.com is a good site to buy from

Tbf he does say that you would not want to put it there and they are just for demonstration purposes.

Hi not long got my DS3 B&W 110 sport for a old bloke very nice.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't got round to replying earlier! I was going to post back when my DS3 arrived which was supposed to be the beginning of August but Citroen have taken what feels like agesss and it turns out I wont have it until next week.

I bought the new Nexus 7 (current £170 + free 1year guarantee deal ends today at Tesco if anyone's in the market for a bargain Nexus 7?) the Brodit mounts look the business tbf but the price does put me off slightly. That and the fact I would really prefer to have a type of mount which I could use to grip both a tablet in landscape but also my Nexus 4 in portrait when needs be.

Well the suction cup can't attach to the upper dashboard the other way it's to ....

Just bought this item http://goo.gl/E2idkh after reading some really good reviews and I liked the fact there was a hole cut out on the bottom 'jaw' to enable phone/tablet charging.
Thanks for all the ideas/advice. I'll report back when I get the mount and maybe do a quick review.

So this is the dock I settled for, it can hold both my nexus 7 and my nexus 4 and has cut outs for the charger port on the nexus 4. the design might look a bit bulky but its solid as a rock and so customisable. It can tilt in pretty much any direction and is also height adjustable.





This is how it looks from the outside. Matches my shark grey combo nicely


I usually have both my devices charged so I don't usually need the car charger but for longer journeys I use this three in one charger. Usually its the other half using it because her iPhone battery runs down so quickly.
