Bluetooth with new head unit

Hi all does anyone know if the cars original Bluetooth can still be used after replacing the head unit with a JVC DAB radio?

or does anyone have and wiring diagram for the back of the original radio, I want to find out which of the original wiring is for the Bluetooth ?

I believe the bluetooth is integral to the radio. Surely any decent aftermarket radio would have this.

I have seen a number of aftermarket head units offering this, Alpine is one for e.g

Is blurtooth a kind of fuzzy version of bluetooth?
Does it blur the sound?

Nope, as Cyclone says the Bluetooth unit in the DS3 is really just an extension device from the original radio set-up.

My head unit and Bluetooth seem to be more that enough for the car, I have been down the huge sub route but I don't think the ds3 with the top sound kit (can remember the pack name) needs anymore power or features.

Unless you have the basic unit, I would not change it.

Thanks for the replies I think I,ll just get the caller display sorted on the original head unit and hang on see if I can pick up a cheep Alpine EZi-DAB or the Pure version both the same anyway.

Hi I've brought a ds3 2013 but can't get radio to peer up everything else works so put a pioneer bluetooth stereo and can get phone to work but nothing works on the car screen does anyone now what I have to do please
