  • Bluetooth playback quiet?

Has anyone else noticed that playback via bluetooth is quieter than the radio or cd? Maybe its because the tracks are compressed but i can turn the volume up to 30 via bluetooth but I can push the radio past 15!

Is there any way around this? I download most of my music via iTunes, would it help if I ripped it to a flash drive/cd??

What are you using to play the music a phone ipod if so have you checked the volume on the device itself is turned up as this will affect the volume

yep as BOBO-DS3 says volume on your phone also has an impact on the output of the stereo.

Definitely follow the volume tips above, in answer to the other question quite a few of us use the Sandisk Cruzer (thumbnail drives) in the DS3's, no volume issues with playing your mp3's off that via the head unit

As others have said, definitely the volume on the phone, it treats the car as if it's a big set of Bluetooth headphones.
