  • Can I buy a USB port add on?

I have a ds3 Dstyle plus it's a 13 plate but only AUX. I've seen things on eBay that you can buy for 60£ but do they work ? With steering wheel controls too? I'm new to this forum sorry if in wrong section

    Welcome to the club

I'm fairly sure you can buy the USB connecting box from Citroen (around £220 IIRC). Someone else will be able to confirm though.

As above you can buy a accessory called the USB Box which will give you some functionality with the steering controls, the items you have seen on eBay only work as a radio station. Some do come with a remote control to change tracks so do some homework on the items first.

I have the IceDevice from Bluetooth world and I will say that it is very good and easy to use.

Just go for the USB connection box, before this turns into another 'Retro-fit thread'...

I have the USB box that was in my previous C4 and C5. It is an easy fit but you may have to go to the dealer to get the device enabled in the computer. Make me an offer.

Just a thought, if you buy a Aux to USB cable will the steering wheel controls work with that?

Nope and I didn't think you could get such a cable as USB requires a voltage.

It is the genuine citroen one, it is very easy to fit. However you may need to take the car to the dealers to have the device programmed into the BSI.
