Comparison re stereo connectivity Dstyle+ and DSport+

Not had much luck with dealerships being able to answer this question (why?!!) so thought owners might be able to help. I'm weighing up whether to order the Dsport+ or the Dstyle+ (new car so the current model being sold) - obviously there are a lot of other things to consider in the spec differences but I'm confused over the stereo (bluetooth connectivity is a bit of a deal breaker for me as although paying more for a faster engine, nicer trim and leather seats is an option, being able to take work calls and ease of playing music on the go is a must given the amount of travelling/commuting I do).

The + brochure says there's a difference, the website comparison tool says there isn't!! So the main things I want to be able to do:
1) bluetooth phone calls with my iPhone 5
2) bluetooth music with my iPhone 5 (pref from steering controls / see tracks on the display)
3) play music from a USB key(from steering controls / see tracks on the display)

Will both the Dstyle+ and Dsport+ standard stereo option do this or just the Dsport+? It's going to make £50 a month difference going for the Dsport+ so just want to know what all of the differences are.

If you're talking about new then the only difference is that the Dsport gets the subwoofer and hi pass speaker on the centre dash. Your brochure is most likely an old one which doesnt show the latest model year updates.

In response to your questions then yes you can make calls, stream and use a usb with track information.

I am completely perturbed as to why dealerships don't know this stuff - two different car salesmen have said to me "I don't know, I don't use all that phone and music stuff"....hmm...well the fact that I'm asking about it probably indicates that I, as the customer, do...!!!

Looking at either on the company car scheme actually -due to the low CO2 rating, they work out really good re after-tax price! But there's about a £45 difference between the models. Saying that I've decided to go for the sport+, too much fun not to.

I'm guessing diesel because you mentioned the CO2 rating? What colour combo did you go for?

Yep diesel.
Haven't ordered just yet - was thinking of sport red with black roof....sort of tempted by the yellow as my current mini is red with a black roof! Dark grey was third on the list.

Right. Red and black sport+ ordered! Now for the wait!! They said 8-10 weeks but I'm hoping given I've not added anything weird to it that they might get a standard one in stock?!!!

Great colour choice, they are v popular with owners, I've probably carded more that colour than any other Look forward to seeing the pics when you get the DS3.
