  • USB box, what is going wrong?

    Hi All,

I have an imitation USB box installed in my DS3. (NAVINC USB-PEU-RD4)
The dealer has installed it using DIAGBOX, ''CD changer installed''

Now i have a strange problem with my My-way navi.

    What is the problem;
    I have 6 CD's
    CD01: 27 tracks
    CD02: 4 tracks
    CD03: 6 tracks
    CD05: 10 tracks
    CD06: 1 track

I inserted both USB and SD cards.

The Myway recognizes the USB box, the USB box is also working with CD01. All of the 27 tracks are working.
The problem is, when i switch to ''CD02'' the myway says me there are 4 tracks in this folder (track 1/4) that is right, but the music used is the music of the first map (CD01). The USB box starts to play song 1 to 4 of folder 1 and then starts at song 1 again.

All other ''CD's'' 3,4,5 and 6 have the same problem.

Do you guys know what is going wrong here?

My RNEG Myway is updated to the latest version (something with 50 in it)
USB and SD cards tried are all formatted to FAT32 and sizes varying from 64 mb to 8 gb are tried

Thanks in forward for the help!

    Regards,

    Rick

Maybe it's early in the morning but I'm confused here?

You have a USB Box fitted to a MyWay system with a CD Changer?

      Bigfeet,

I fitted the USB box, but the dealer has to tell the my way that it is a CD changer right?
The USB stick can handle 6 maps named ''CD'' with each 99 tracks in it normally

Okay I see, my understanding was that the USB box is treated as an AUX input into the MyWay rather than as a CD Changer.

If I'm truly honest I have had very little dealings with the setup but I am wondering if there is an issue with having both the USB and the SD card slotted at the same time.

I tried both SD and USB, but separately,
It can't work when they are both inserted, but the problem is with the USB stick, but also when i remove the USB and insert an SD.
I think my english is rubbish that I didn't make my story in post 1 clear.

What kind of dealings you had with installing the box?
