  • no radio volume

I have a dsport plus. The radio was working fine but all of a sudden, no sound coming through on any station. Tried retuning it but nothing. Sound is fine playing music from my phone and making calls. Any ideas folks?

Sounds like a loose aerial cable. I'd pop into your dealer and get them to have a look.

Is there any sound? Mine works without the aerial.

If it was this I'd expect to hear some feedback/crackles.

Sounds daft but is the sound on that source turned up? Each source has its own setting and keeps this until adjusted even when cycled through.

Just on each one, stays the same number the last time you listened to it.

If I listen to USB source on 14, I know if I cycle (press source) to Radio, it will be about 4

            There isn't a specific menu.

If you scroll through each different source(Cd, radio, aux, usb, etc..) they'll each have their own volume control.

When you switch (by using the source button) try turning the volume up each time by using the volume control knob or the hand stalks.

Just great to eliminate the easy things!

Also check it is on FM?

I nearly took my old car to the garage because it made a clunking sound at every left turn. Found a tin of paint under my car rolling about that hit the frame at every turn -_-

Make sure the source is not set at Input 1, on that setting there is no noise at all through the radio.

So chalk it to 'operator error' then??
