  • Trouble getting dip stick back in

Hey guys. I've been having problems getting the dipstick in and out of the hole. I've literally tried forcing it in and no budge... The AA guy managed to get his in without any trouble. I've read online that you maybe have to twist and push or something but I tried that and it still won't go back in. So is there some magical way to get it back in? Also, just wondered if anyone knows how much they are?... Kind of bent mine trying to force it in

Thanks in advance for any info and I realize that my post is filled with innuendos :P

    Cheers!

I would recommend going gently till the tip is nicely inserted into the correct orifice. Then push a little bit harder. If at this stage you feel some resistance, reverse your thrust axis a smidgen before continuing to insert your stick. You are looking to feel smooth engagement along the complete shaft. Once reaching that stage feel free to ram it home. A word of warning, accidentally putting your stick in the wrong hole could lead to a failure light that is not easy to reset.
