Just took the dealer sticker off my rear hatch window.Used a hair dryer and peeled it of very gently.
I was worried it might take off the heated window element. It left the glue behind and I removed it with Pro Power Label remover

Never had a dealer sticker- told them wouldnt buy the car if it had one (Jokingly but meaning it)
Then noticed the crafty sods gave me a registration plate with their LOGO on
      Changed that pronto
      Then changed the reg! Ha!

Stipulated before I took delivery of my car that I didn't want any dealer stickers on the car, wasn't fussed about the number plate though. Main reason was that on my previous car a C2 it blocked quite a bit of the view out of the rear window.

Guys the numbers plates must bear the logo and postcode of the supplying dealer, this is one of the rules that the dealers must abide too in order to conform with DVLA rules when registering new vehicles.

Remember in the OLD days when buying a car you used to have to register it yourself

Not that it matters particularly- but the stuff I found better than Autoglym Tar remover is "Simonz" bug shifter
Might not have been that cheap actually (As i said earlier)
Cleans all smears, splats and helpful with the dreaded bird poo too

Or was that OMO- or Daz?
Jees- reminiscing of ads gone by eh?

Now I can't get the phrase "Flash cleans baths without scratching" (said in a screetchy female Govan accent) out of my head.

                    Thanks!

Better not mention Barry Scott's catchphrase then....

Why not try WD40 sprayed onto a cloth first then polish the glass,
