  • Cupra front mount - mounting help

Has anyone fitted one or point me in the direction of mounting fitting it to a DS3?

If you mean a Cupra splitter then there's a guide here

Thought that might be the case. Far as I'm aware nobody has done it yet, since there's enough out there specifically made for the DS3.

I've just bought the unit :-)

I'm going to cut my front bumper to increase the airflow of the OEM unit first and then test the cupra unit :-)

If you could post some pics when done it would be great for anyone else attempting it in the future

These pics will help, you'll need to cut away the crash bar and some of the front panel to fit it.

And I know a guy who build Cupra IC kits for the 207 (might be adaptable?)

Right so the intercooler is now in and fitted to be honest it was a piece of piss to fit:

Sets Cupra intercooler with brackets - 2nd hand £145 posted
Intercooler pipework purchased from viper performance £80

You need to cut out the area around the old intercooler and remove a section of the bumper bar. And then weld the brackets to the bumper bar and that's it.

All in £225 for a massive intercooler from VW that's fits a treat.

James will be mapping it week after next so watch this space
