  • Air Conditioning loosing R134a inside

Hello guys. I have bought recently a DS3 1.4 HDi EGS and I have seen that the AC was not turning on the compressor. I have checked the installation and I had only 40g on R134a. After filling it back AC was working but I have felt that every-time in the car I have a refrigerant smell. What can it be? Does anybody know or had anybody this issue on DS3?

    Thank you very much!

40g isn’t that low as they hold 42-45grams.
I’d get it checked out & get UV dye put in the system to check for leaks

Thank you! I have just put today contrast substance to identify the leak and there is nothing on the outside.

But unfortunately the compressor is not engaging anymore and still smelling inside. Can it be the air con module evaporator?
