  • 2011 DS3 1.6 THP 156hp Engine Cooling radiator removal process

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has ever had a cracked cooling radiator on their DS3 1.6 THP and if they undertook the replacement process themselves? Mine is a 2011 model and it just started leaking just by the top neck connected to the hose. I took it to a body shop and they managed to remove and med the leak using fiber glass. Sadly,I only managed to drive to my house 4kms and the top hose connector came off splashing coolant everywhere in the engine compartment. Now am planning to do this myself now that I have already incurred some crazy costs. So I checked online with Autodoc UK and while a new radiator is costing from 37 pounds upwards, the shipping is killer at 3 times this amounts to Kenya via DHL and they don't seem to have other shipping option!!..Now am stuck & I cannot find this part locally. Part number should be 1330J7 or 1330P9
Any help would be highly appreciated...

Why dont you look at breaker yards. Ebay etc etc for a good used part.

Not that hard to fit. Remove front bumper (Thats the tricky bit) although there is a removal guide online

Drain the system by removing the bottom rad pipe

    Remove and replace the rad

Then fill up with antifreeze etc etc.
