Is the cleaning kit for the KN Panel filter worthwhile and has anyone used one? Spose its not just KN filters that can be cleaned
Seems to comprise of "Filter oil" (Why would you spray oil on an air filter) and "filter cleaner" (Is that to take the oil off?)

How often would you clean one does anyone know?

Yes CYCLONE. Instructions came with mine. But nothing about cleaning other than "Washable" on front box
Would you like me to post a photo of the instructions for you to show I havent lost them?

I know time has passed since the last post on this thread but for info purposes my HDI 115 K&N panel filter came from Euro Car Parts, all you do is tell the guys on the counter your car reg no. and they can order the correct fitting part at a reasonable price.

Got my K&N panel filter for £36. rrp can be as much as £46.

Yes excellent, Z3-beating acceleration on top of my Quantum Blue remap! So my conclusion is : K&N panel filter + a suitable remap = Alot of fun to drive along with the existing diesel economy! Result! Car can really breathe now,before it had Asthma ! ( p.s. I have asthma so am not offended!)
