Digital TV Receiver

Hello guys,

I have the 1.4 diesel DS3 with MyWay navigation but i made the fault not to take it with USB port. I asked my dealer for the USB Box that citroen offers as accessoir and he said me it costs around 250euros. I found it on Internet for 180euros. But yesterday i found this on internet:

So my questions are:
1) Is something like that compatible with my 7'' factory screen (MyWay) ? Because if the answer is yes i solved my problem as i woulb be able to play TV, DVD and MP3 from USB.
2) If not, does USB Box worth(i think is like a common cd changer) or it's better to buy a chinese cd changer that is more expensive (around 70euros)?

I wouldn't imagine so. I had a look at doing this quite a while back and there aren't any standard connectors that you could use to connect the head unit IIRC.

I haven't been behind the dash to see what connector the screen uses though. If you can be arsed to go through the effort to check, let me know what you find.

Thank you for your immediate response Dangerousfish. The problem is that even the manual does not refer anything about a possible receiver or something. So before try something i had to ask here for sure! If anyone know or tried it let me know please!

No problem guys, just not today.
Those 2 plugs are the only ones on the unit, no unused ports . Will take it back out tomorrow and get some pics of the unpluged plugs.

Alexandros, I think your only hope lays on one of those ports being HDMI. The bottom one looks slightly like it but it's unlikely they'd be using a HDMI cable.

Per my last post, unless it's a HDMI cable or a RGB connector it's not going to work.

Best bet would be to find a different screen that fits in there but then you'll probably lose all the MyWay features.
