Racing in Bristol but not with a young driver!

Saw this Racing in a Tesco in Bristol, and after I parked up saw a guy walking away from it and asked if it was his which is was.

He saw mine and we chatted for a while about our cars, I mentioned about the club but he didn't have the internet, in fact he was a proper gentleman and 75 years old, God Bless him!

I wonder if he knew what he was getting when he bought a Racing ? That said when I was about 11-12 I used to see a very elderly couple in Chichester who used to drive their Porsche 911 into town for pension day, bless them they could hardly get into or out of the car !

I thought that at first lfcrule1972 but after talking to him he said he had always owned 'Sports Cars' and he quoted the brake horse power of the racing and a few other details that convinced me he knew what he wanted.

He also said he didn't clean it but paid to have it 'fully valeted/cleaned' every three months.

I noticed something similar at Wings and Wheels on Sunday as I was leaving. In the car behind were two chaps, probably aged between 65-75. The car was a riced up S2000....
