unusual DS3

Seen today, a yellow ds3, 11 plate, the baguettes were body coloured, with no extra piece on (like chrome) so just part of the door moulding, and at the top half of the dooor there is a crease along most of it's length. Wondered if anyone knew which model it is?

I think what you'll have seen is an early Dsign or Dstyle as the chrome baguettes were an optional extra on those models, now standard equipment on all models according to the brochure I downloaded from the citroen website today.




The crease running from the front of the door handle to just under the mirror is standard on all models. It also runs from behind the door handle and curves up into the sharks fin. Probably stands out more on some colours than others.

The baguettes are like you say so guess someone opted not to put the chrome on, but looks like they have fallen off and definatelty not as bling! As you say the crease is on everyone now that yuo mention it, it did seem more distinct on that one perhaps because there was no chrome to draw the eye away from it.

Yay that's my car, I have added a vinyl strip along that edge now with a custom design. Im not into to much bling and as a £150 option I spent that on the vinyl

What's the lucky 20 for? Was it the people who won the tickets last year or something?

The lucky 20 were the winners of the Rally tickets last year. I suspect there'll be something similar for this year's competition as well.

That's right Ben, taken at the meet in Kent, May last year. I struggled to find a picture that showed the side of a car without the baguettes.
