Well... my car is in for its 25K mile service - have requested them to change the settings to sidelights always on... will see if they are willing or not when I collect her wednesday afternoon! fingers crossed! :cool:

Thank you Evans Halshaw! Now have sidelights on in conjunction with the DRL's! Did it in with the service - the MOT tester came out and told me they would not do it, as the DRL's being on all the time is illegal - I told him that is not what I was asking for and the technician who was with him has a DS3 and said he had done it on his and they went off with the headlights... I had to sign the receipt to say I had requested it - it looks great!Comment

I wonder, what do you do when you want to use your side (parking) lights? Then your DRL's are on too? (And technically they become NPL's then?
)

If you turn the stalk to the sidelight position, the DRL's turn off, as they do with the dipped beam... so when parking at night you can leave the sidelights on, without the DRL's... the DRL function is not changed in any way... just the sidelight function... they (IMHO) look great! :Joni:Comment
