Ben's Transformer!

Ok, so I've had my DS3 DSport Plus just over a week now and I absolutely love it. Since I finally have such a nice car, I'm willing to spend and transform it!

So I thought I'd share the updates and go along this journey with you guys. [emoji4]

These pictures are how I got it standard.

The list of mods/changes I'm planning on getting include;

•The full centre console and door handle surrounds in matching carbon fibre, like the dash.
•A new gear knob.
•Wind deflectors.
•Rear diffuser wrapped gloss black.
•Rear lights wrap tinted dark.
•Front headlight eye lids/brows in gloss white to match the car.
•Maybe a quad exit exhaust or double with one exit at each side.
•Get the car wrapped a different colour (thinking matte black with all gloss black accents but not sure or decided yet).

Here's some bits and bobs that might help you

•The full centre console and door handle surrounds in matching carbon fibre, like the dash.
Are you thinking of wrapping of actual carbon? Might be hard to get a match for the dash, from what I recall its quite light compared to the wrap I have seen

•Rear diffuser wrapped gloss black.
Have you heard of plasti dip? Might be good to use on the diffuser re the texture and shape - http://prodipyourcar.com/

•Rear lights wrap tinted dark.
Check out Fly Eye kits - http://www.flyeyeskit.co.uk/ Have you got the non 3d lights? When Adam had his DS3 he fly eye kit'd around the outiside edge and then had the light surrounds added on to frame the centre that was un tinted (looks good and no reason for anyone to stop you as its road legal then)

We may already have a Transformer, and he may already be an Autobot but that will certainly not stop me from also being an Autobot because I bet he hasn't got a Transformer tattoo piece on his ribs?...

Also planning on getting some Autobot LED lights underneath the doors, so when you open them at night, you'll see the Autobot logo! YES I'M INCREDIBLY SAD.

As for the centre console etc, I'm hoping a company nearby can get the same print I currently have on my dash and wrap or hydro dip the centre console the same to match, but not enquired about that just yet! :/

I have indeed heard of Plasti Dip! I am very familiar with it as I have used it before on my previous car and plan on doing my chrome badges and grille! (:

Yeah, I believe I have the non 3d lights although they do have crevasses and shape to them? So not entirely sure!

I'm not entirely sure I plan on keeping it white. As smart and nice as it looks, I prefer wild, colourful and dark colours so it may well change in the near future.

As for the exhaust, that will most definitely be one of the last things as my current dual one is awesome and very happy with it compared to my previous, non-visible and rusty one on my previous car haha. (:

Oh and I also had fly eye wrap on all lights, on my previous car, and it was great from a distance but wasn't so keen close up, and it started peeling away on one of my rear lights so I will be getting tint wrap this time! (:

So far I have ordered some white LED's for my rear number plates, also getting some more for my footwells and interior ceiling light too, then I've got my windscreen decal which is going on this week, along with the #DS3Club decal and that's about it until pay day!

Then I'll get my wind deflectors, door LED projectors and my private number plate! (:

Sounds good! You going for the Team Heko deflectors or genuine ones? Or another brand?

Team Heko! They seem to be reasonably priced and don't fancy paying God knows how much for genuine ones!

Agreed there. You should consider joining the events the club goes to... I'm yet to go to one though haha... FCS is in September if you're interested.
