  • Fooda's build

    Hey!

Well this is gonna be a very slow build but hopefully a good one!

This is my list for now:
42 draft design oil catch can. (installed)
    forge motorsport induction kit.
    forge motorsport intercooler.
    forge motorsport hard pipe kit.
forge motorsport blow off piston valve.
boost, oil pressure and water temp gauges. (boost gauge will be mechanical, the rest will be electrical)
boost gauge will be from GlowShift, the others will be from Prosport EVO series
supersprint exhaust and hanger 111 sport cat.
upgraded clutch << any suggestions ?

    that's all for now

    suggestions are very welcomed!

and here are a few pics of the OCC: (excuse the quality, my camera lenses are broken but they do the trick )

People that have them fitted say that its when the cold weather sets in, the catch can earns its money
How cold does it get where you are?

Not many have them fitted as they are warranty breakers- and they are highly visible under the bonnet
Some say they don't collect any oil and water
But will get one fitted myself at some stage- the earlier THP the more they are needed it appears, and Racings should have them fitted

Yes- Im not certain but it could be just sticking a can in mid route of the front PCV pipe I guess
Delete the rear PCV from what I understand
Personally, I prefer to employ people who know a bit more than me on how to do things
If it was an older car, it wouldn't bother me.
Intend to fit a recirc valve at some stage, myself however

Fooda- you considering a recirc valve?

The comments on that is its not very tall, and mounted above the engine
The slop moves around easy in the tin, and may come back down the pipes when engines off
(We should discuss this away from someones build thread TBH- or i'll get someone slating me off again)

Baffle plates inside the forge can prevent the tikka masala from sloshing back out, it would need about a litre in it before that happens.

If you left it long enough I suppose it could fill up by that much, always empty mine as soon as it's viewable through the spy glass.
