17th September - Midlands Meet - Ideas?

Hey guys,

I've been thinking of planning a mini meet for the midlands/north area possibly mid-September.
Does anyone have any ideas, I was thinking maybe Buxton and go for a blast around the peaks for the gorgeous scenery but any suggestions are welcome.

I don't know the area but Buxton sounds nice. We like a good drive and a photo spot!

Macclesfield to Buxton (Cat & Fiddle) road is great, average 50 cameras but the road is twisty enough that it doesn't matter.

When I lived in Wilmslow I used to do a loop, the best bits are: Macclesfield > Buxton > Ladybower Reservoir > Snake Pass > Glossop.

Don't think that's a problem :P This car park's free you have to pay to park in the town. (Also the highest pub in the UK)
