Definite Meet this Saturday - Stoke on Trent

Folks,

This is a definite meet this coming Saturday, but is not a specific DS3 meet, but a 'detailing' meet. If any of you have read my posts I'm a keen detailer ('extreme' valeting I guess you could call it, if you're not famiiar with the term).

This Saturday one of the 'traders' (sellers of detailing products, as well as very keen detailer himself along with his team) is doing a 'Summer Meet'. I get on well with this chap and view him as a good friend (he's been to my place etc, so he's my friend :lol. I've contacted him today and he's ok to extend the invite to people from here.

I know you won't be able to post on the post I'm linking to here (except two of you I know who have signed up since I mentioned detailingworld since being here), but if you do want to go please just hit a reply here so I can give Mark an idea of the numbers.....Please dont just say 'yes' with no intention of going, I'd like to give Mark a reasonable idea of the numbers going (if there are any)....

The day includes people trying to get two old cars all 'smartened' up - there is some top detailers going so you might find it worthwhile. Some of these do it for a full time living, I'm just a keen enthusiast.... (addition I prob wont be doing this team stuff, as need to catch up with Mark on some stuff and hope to chat to Clair and her husband and any other people that come from here, and I prob won't be there for the beginning!)

Have a look on Autobritedirect.co.uk they sell foam lances for your pressure washer and then either snow foam or magifoam in various sizes from 500ml upwards.

Hope everything likes the pics on DW and if you're interested in a meet at Autobriate 'as a club' which I can sort - we wouldn't need to do 'advanced' stuff but it would be easy to show everyone the basics and how to get very nice results with not too much effort (that is a relative statement of course, some think 30 mins is too much effort!).....

ps.....Snow foams vary in quality a lot (in my experience). Nothing, again IMO, compares to Autobrite Magifoam, it clings for ages, and just a great product. I personally tend to use snow foam a lot more in the winter to remove the high amounts of salt, crud, etc, etc our cars are subjected to.

Sort it mate, I'm sure some would go. Try not to clash or be too close to anything else if you want a few to attend. October maybe? So we know what to ask for for xmas

I think it would be good if we could have a club meet down there, really enjoyed Saturday

If its going to be october dont book between 15th and 22nd as im on holiday for a week and i dont wanna miss out.
