Right- been looking around and commenting without too much success. Looking for DS3 owners in the North East for a meetup, just somewhere for a coffee and then after that we can firm up some proper meets.

Here's the plan- if you're up for meeting up just give a hands up here, once we have a good show of hands I'll sort out the time and place- probably a Saturday or Sunday down South Shields beach for a coffee, an ice cream and quick catch up.

Yep to all 3- The Sand Dancer Car Park is where I go most days for a coffee although the pub is now called Crab Shack at the Sand Dancer- very nice place and great to sit out watching the kite surfers and kayakers on a decent day. The caves are called Marsden Grotto and that's been done up and looks alot nicer again and the County is still the home of Marine Engineers from around the world

Get up to North Yorkshire every couple months for work for a couple days
Mind you- its 300 odd miles from here!
Keep trying for the meet up- takes a while for people to get interested
