I have recently had some Free Basic Emergency Life Support Training with Intervention Marshals UK (IVMUK).

This is an initiative to train anybody in emergency life support skills so you will be able to help in an emergency until the ambulance arrives.

The course delivers the following modules in emergency life support skills:

CPR for adults, Recovery Position, Choking, Bleeding, and Recognising Heart Attacks.

If anybody is interested I can arrange such a course for Free but I would ask that you do contribute towards the costs of accomodation for Instructors who are prepared to give up their time depending of course on where the course is held. It is hoped to hold it in a central location. However I do need to get an idea of numbers before we can arrange a date. It would have to be centred outside the Motor Racing Season if we choose a Saturday venue. A minimum number of Eight would make it viable. My course was held at Grays in Essex 1st December last.

D for Danger check all is safe before proceeding
R for Response
S for Shout for Help
A for Airway
B for Breathing
C for CPR

40 years since I last had my First FirstAid course and we did pressure points aas well.

I practiced on one of the girls in our class and found the pressure points most intertesting:redface:
