FCS 2013 Feedback

I will be sending the FCS team some feedback about their show so they can know what we all thought.

Anything you would like me to pass on please add it to this thread. Im sure they would appreciate honest feedback in order to make it better next year!

Correct stand locations, ample space for the amount of cars on each stand and secuirty guards that don't mind a bit of noise would have added to the day ^_^

This. We spilled over into the Clio club, which they were super cheery about, even though they barely filled half their allotted space.

In addition to the points above I think the show needs many more traders next year so that there's more to see and do, perhaps reduce the fees for traders so more want to turn up, that should increase their revenue and also mean clubs will have more to recommend it to their members as well

To be honest I'm not sure the FCS did enough to justify the £15 ticket price, for us it was the ds3club.co.uk (and C2) members who made it a great day.

Final point, in the interests of fairness perhaps other Club owners shouldn't be on the FCS if prizes are being awarded for club stands ?

Also, im not sure Castle Combe was a great venue imo. Perhaps a track where you could watch more racing? like the drift cars went on (only knew because i heard their tyre's squeaking) and it was over before you could even get to the stand.

Perhaps a FCS programme or something, to let you know what was going on during the day.

Unfortunately when you're not on the FCS commitee you can't pull as many strings as some others can.

Better parking for the amount of cars per stand/group - thought that was what the stand tickets were for - for FCS to determine the amount of cars per stand and allocate space accordingly. There have been a few posts from people saying they couldn't park with group due to there being no space (never mind the access to space).

More traders and demonstrations with schedule / plan what's happening when.

Allow bottles (was going to bring some Bulmers Cider but that's in bottles), I understand why no glass though.

If you have a smart phone which I'm guessing you do they gave out a free digital map / programme. Was pretty helpful, knew exactly when the drifting was on and the awards.

I think their organisation was very lousy, I have been to similar car events at castle Combe in the past that were a lot better than this.

Location is great, but needs a better team to organise, but I was concerned about this when it took them so long to send out the club stand passes.

Wonder if they overbooked clubs and had to cut space?

I agree there should be more traders, if there were more then some of the prices would be more competitive and a wider selection of compatible parts, most places had parts for saxo's and clios but not much else.
