  • S.E. Lucky 7's meet - Sunday 25th August, Rudgwick, W.Sussex, Steam/Classic Car show?

South East Lucky 7's next meet suggestion for Sunday 25th August, 11am I think (Will confirm)

Rudgwick is a small village in heart of West Susssex, countryside England, and this is a yearly event. Food, music, and classic vehicles. Cant see there any entrance to pay- will check

This is a Country and Steam engine/ Classic vehicle show with expectation of 300+ vehicles attending

Will track down some more info and post up on here

This is to get members thoughts, and if there is any interest.

All welcome if you are in the area. Come say hello. This will be the groups 8th meeting!

    What you think?

Nice idea Chris Count us in on this one.. I think there is an admission fee, as many attractions on site.

Great country location to the West of Horsham West Sussex.

OK Nick- Lets see how many others are up for it

The other suggestion from SteveO was White Hart at Rottingdean

Get a few meetings whilst the warmer weather is here, then maybe bi-monthly in the winter months

Yep, no probs on either of these - as always good weather is needed for a walk about, but could make more of a cruise out of it if the weather went pear shape.

I agree on the bi-monthly winter meets though. Makes sense..

Yep it is quiet on this thread Chris.. I guess a BH weekend gets committed to family activities at times - just make sure the family all have DS3`s

                          Time will tell.

Just seen the brochure on this event - entrance is £10 a head ! Bit steep I thought, although it states the toilet facilities are better this year

We are now away the day before, so unless interest picks up it may be a no go for us... Wait n see
