North east meet

Just trying to gauge a bit intrest here but would anyone from the north east area be up for an informal gathering sometime next month . I know its getting colder and not great weather but its so a few from the north east area can put names to faces and possibly people from outside the area joining in too . My idea is to have the meet on the 24th of november which is a sunday time can be arranged to suit but for meeting place i was thinking scotch corner services as its easy to get to and if people outside the are want to come along its a decent meeting point . Theres tons of parking and somewhere to go to the loo or get a drink if wanted . Like i say im just looking at whos intrested so if your up for it say so

Did this go ahead, or is it likely to in the near future? I wouldn't mind attending a meet myself, never done this before and I only get my DS3 tomorrow, 27-11-2013! Scotch corner is not a million miles away from me so would suit me perfect!

It didnt go ahead as there was very little intrest but im sure it could be arranged again sometime

i think we need a meet in the north east like i am pickin my new ds3 up and would be nice to see other members on here come up here it be bit cold but it be worth it lol

You guys are always free to organise your own.

You'll get a much better response if you find a location, date & time beforehand rather than trying to come to some sort of consensus in a thread.

Scotch corner is a good one as already suggested. Nice and central for the folks travelling from daaan saaaf and easy to get to all round, or if we're after something more scenic could head up to Whitley Bay or somewhere along those lines... Get out on the freezing cold coast and sort the men from the boys!!

As for dates, what about mid March? 15/16th maybe, gives time to plan it but should be on people's work rotas with any luck?

Obviously i'm just throwing ideas around here, even if it's only a few of us it'll see a few hours off and put some names to faces

Picking mine up march the 26th deffo interested in meeting up with fellow north easterners. scotch corner is good plenty of parking we used to use it for Scooby meets so will keep an eye out for a meet in the future :-)

Not got my car no more hopefully get another soon but once sorted will plan another there's plenty up north to attend
