4 points of Mainland England challenge - 18th - 20th April

Guys and gals, my father-in-law was thinking of doing this, (although I think he wanted to to mainland Britain!) and I thought it could be a good fun challenege for us all over a long weekend?

We could maybe use it to raise some money for charity next year (perhaps Brake?) and we could get some fantastic pics. The points are:

Northernmost point – Marshall Meadows Bay, Northumberland at 55°48′N 2°02′W / 55.800°N 2.033°W / 55.800; -2.033

Yeah, just drive to the next point each day. Could have a central-ish meeting point, drive to first place, take some photos, have a look around, few drinks and food, stay somewhere cheap....move on to the next. We may be able to do 2 points in a day?

I've not looked at routes or anything, but could be really good fun? Custom t-shirts, stickers....ok, getting carried away, but I think it would be really good for a weekend next year. And raise some money too for a good cause

Looking at Google Maps, South and West points are only 35 miles apart so they're probably the best to do in one day.

As WTF said, we could arrange meets for people more local to each point, if they didn't want to join the epic convoy.

Excellent john we need to get a date that doesn't clash with FCS, Trax, Download Fest, Conmonwealth Games and Wings & Wheels! But hey that's only five weekends out of 52!
