Ds3 meet

Hi all,
Thought it might be a nice idea to have a summer meet when we could all get together.Be great to see convoy of ds3s on the road.
We should make it in a central location any suggestions?

I might be waiting till May also. Spoke to the sales man yesterday & he said it could be April or May. Knowing my luck it will be May. Had to take in paperwork so they can transfer my private reg onto the DS3 so no 10 plate for me. Seeing a DS3 in the showroom made me more impatient, I WANT IT NOW

Yeah, the waiting time totally sucks, considering that i ordered on the 16th of feb and found out on friday that itl be sometime in May probably but i cant get a date till they start building it... it is a slow process, itl be worth it in the end though . I'd just like a date, things feel much more like they are moving/real when you've got an end to aim for!

Hey guys, tell me about it i ordered my new baby on feb15th.
Still no definitive date but i guess that makes us all that little bit more special.
If we make our meet in august i think we should all be in our cars by then?
Do we have any locations in mind. Midlands? ,or may be sea side some where.

Its not upto me buddy, a club is built by its members!

Midlands is usually a good call as its central.
Theres Star City in Birmingham which has a huge carpark for showing off cars, lots of places to eat and things to do.
Midlands Heritage Motor Museum is another one we had over on C2Club, with a pub meal afterwards.
West Midlands Safari Park is another one we had on C2Club, although im not sure how willing you guys will be to drive your spanking new DS3's through a safari park!

Any other ideas?

Birmingham is probably the most central you could get, I'd really be up for this would be cool if there are a few drivers on the way and can make it up in convoy!

Depends what everyone wants out of a location I guess?

E.g. Hopwood motorway services on the M42 would be fine if all you want is a car park and somewhere to get food or a coffee. But I guess a pub off the motorway would be better, somewhere that has a large car park and can cater for large parties etc.

I certainly wouldn't want to have to got into central Birmingham, or anywhere like StarCity. I prefer the open road Baby !!
