I did have one until the Ex run off with it!!

Anyway I was agreeing with DS3ADI that sometimes forums tend to led more to the negative ownership aspect of cars rather then the reason most of us really join a club and that is to enjoy the cars. There are days when I log on and all I can do is roll my eyes at some of the posts which ultimately led me to making the 'DS3 Love' thread to remind folks why they brought the car in the first place!

Thoroughly agree with last post Biggie
I get disappointed with some (Laboured) comments too, although they probably do help people that may have that problem coming
But hey- thats what makes us a free society
Ive learnt LOADS on here- just thought Citroen could advise us of what they have learnt
            Hey-ho.

It would be nice Chris but its not any manufacturers style. We and especially Biggie got onto trouble for posting the info rapides and fixes. However Citroen France give these freely to the French club. I approached a senior member of CUK at Brighton meet and he was going to look into it. Then came the log in stuff for your vehicle off CUK. Other than that there's not a lot else we can do

Yes I did, got a big slap on the wrists after a Dealer complained that someone had come into their dealership demanding a fix from the info rapids. That dealer will stay anonymous.

And I thought you guys all knew (or figured out) that I work within a dealership? I don't work directly for CUK though.

RE: The latest update, I was in the dealership in Manchester the other week looking for some clips for my sill. The part's guy checked for it using my registration and told me that I NEEDED to get the car in for a software update.
I asked him what the update was for and was told he wasn't sure but it NEEDED to be done. I asked him if it was just to correct an issue whereby the engine management light incorrectly illuminates, he tapped around on his keyboard and said that it was but stressed once again that it NEEDED to be done.

Might have just been this guy but I'm pretty sure the majority of dealerships aren't really too fussed what the updates for, they're just told to roll them out as and when they're required. An email directly to CUK would provide you with more information.

RE: Citroen actively browsing this forum. For sure they do, wouldn't you do the same if you owned a company? Check how people are rating your latest creation, reward the ambassadors of Citroen who share no affiliation with PSA for showing their latest creation in it's best light?

I've had members of the administrative team ask me to remove deflamatory posts in the past that CUK have seen and requested be removed. It's not a problem if they do this because what they believe is untrue and they can prove it. My only gripe with them doing so is that they could be a little more open and honest.
What would you rather have? Someone who makes a genuine mistake and admits fault then does something pro-actively to remedy it? Or would you prefer someone who makes a mistake that could have been easily avoided, refuses to accept it's a mistake of their own but offers you a little assistance out of guilt?

                              Seems a fair enough assessment.
