1. Discussion & Debate is welcome, however we will not tolerate insults, rudeness, personal attacks or inflammatory posting.
2. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsense posts, or similar. Ensure your post (& title) is detailed enough to ensure other forum users can understand it (See 12). All posts breaking these rules will be removed without prior notice.
3. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. Do not make multiple threads for the same topic if a previous thread can be continued.
4. Advertising, links to pyramid or similar referral schemes and spamming are not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private Message system to spam other members.
5. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. Multiple accounts will be removed without prior notice.
6. Please refrain from using the Shoutbox service to ask previously covered topics.
If you have a query, use the search function to look through the forums for assistance or alternatively post a thread with your question. This way more people will be able to see it and any answers or solutions will be available for the next person with a similar query.
7. If you have been muted in the shoutbox, it is either because you have been deemed as a spammer (posting too frequently) or a member of the Admin team has deemed your posts as innapropriate. You will be unmuted in due course. Feel free to contact a member of the admin team for more details.
8. We reserve the right to remove, or edit, offensive, pointless or inappropriate posts without notice.
9. We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules.
10. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
11. Bumping of a thread should be kept to a minimum from forum Members, there is no need to bump a thread within an hour or two of it being posted, please give forum users time to respond to your thread/post. Excessive 'bumps' will be removed without notice
12. Please make thread titles informative, so that any topic can be searched for more easily using the SEARCH function. Thread titles like 'Help' or 'What do you think of this' do not help other members when searching for a subject in the future. Just add something like 'Help - Decision on Alloy Wheels' or ‘Advice needed - Knocking from driver's side'. It doesn't take a lot of time just to be informative in your thread descriptions.
