I'm sure one of the admins can advise on that.

However if you host the pictures elsewhere i.e. www.photobucket.com you can then insert the picture into your post by clicking the picture frame icon and entering the url in the box on the 'From URL' tab, make sure you untick 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' box. I'm not sure of the number but you can then post a lot more than 5 images.

Has there been a glitch about a week ago causing photos to be lost?
Several of my more recent albums have been completely wiped?

ME too !!! i know there was an incident involving certain piccs a couple of weeks ago that were put all over the site by someone who certainly didnt own a DS3!! , and then 40 mins later had been wiped off (well done for being so quick and on the ball as it was about 11 pm ) , so maybe when that was done it cleared them all off ? not sure ? ...

But As I told Chris, we had to roll back some information and reload it when we had some spam last week. Maybe something to do with that, but Liam may know more.

I missed the spam, good to know this site is on top of it though, well as much as anyone can be.....

I've set off a script that will run through the database and re-attach any images to the appropriate posts if they're missing.

This'll probably take an hour or so to complete so check back after 10 and let me know if they're still missing please

I don't know about the pics in posts but like Chris_Blue my albums under my profile have disappeared. When I click on 'more' button it knows how many should be in there but the folders are all empty

Any reason why now we have to resize every photo to load on here- theyre all too big
When I first joined never had to resize any of them

Nothing has changed re image restrictions. Have you changed what you are using to take photos with? Quality and image size might be greater.

Hosting them online is much easier. You'll never need to adjust them and the images show up larger in a thread.
