On a slightly different note, if you get your password wrong 5 times you are locked out for 15 minutes before you can try and log in again, and you receive an email:
Dear XXXXXX,
Someone has tried to log into your account on DS3 Owners Club - DS3Club.co.uk with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes. The person is trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 127.0.0.1. All the best ...
Isn't 127.0.0.1 the network card's internal loop back address!!!
Sorry had a bad day typing, probably had CAPS lock on.

This issue should be resolved.
We have a new caching server in place so all login requests were being made from what appeared to be localhost.
We had to configure an XFF module in order to forward the correct IP's to the webserver.
Let me know if you see the same error again please Pete

It happened to me yesterday, with the proper password. But, I just changed the password, waited the 15 min, and it worked fine. Instead of troubling you guys. Al
