We had to run a restore the other week so it's just a case of re-syncing all the images to the database.

I'll be able to get round to this tonight. Apologies for the inconvenience guys.

Its much easier to host them externally and insert the links. Images are full size in threads, you don't need to resize them when uploading. If you opt for photobucket you can crop images, edit, add filters and so on.

Busy day at work. Had to drive upto Yorkshire and back so we could setup an Oculus Rift for an expo we're off to at weekend. I've been playing with that all day

Looks like a large portion of the attachments database has been corrupted and recovering just a couple of individual tables from backups is going to be like stepping through a minefield.

Sorry guys. It won't be possible to recover the images that were previously attached internally or to your albums.

As we always suggest, I would recommend that for any images that you want to post you should ideally be using an external provider. By doing this you mitigate using up the bandwidth and disk space of the server and also keep your own sudo-backup in doing so rather than relying on our backups.

I'll keep the feature in place for those of you who are uncomfortable using a provider such as Photobucket or imgur..

                            Sorry.
