Any Total War players?

With the exception of Rome 2, I play a lot of Total War. Empire and Napoleon can be picked up from Amazon from between £5 - £8 each and when combined with the free total factions Mod become even better.

Napoleon is better coded and has a lesser hardware requirement (also less bugs) but looks a wee bit better.

Not as graphically impressive as the likes of Company of Heroes 2 (which does need some fairly meaty hardware to shine) but great if you like games that require both strategic and political planning plus field tactics.

Its not as in-depth as Civ, nowhere near. You can change tax rates but only at continental level, you can manipulate religion in smaller areas but generally its not as policy driven as Civ. The Mods do add something new though, unlocking emerging nations is cool.
