Flying around Vegas

Took my A10C for a flight around Nevada today.
This is the Alpha release for V2 of the DCS flight sim, already feeling like a finished product and way better looking than version 1.5. Also takes advantage of multi core CPUs and being 64bit only, loves system RAM using just under 7GB (Total used just over 11GB) with just me on the map, adding other AI planes and vehicles would bump that up.





I run the cockpit on my main 27" screen at 2560x1440 and the two MFDs on a second monitor running at 1920x1200.

As its not a final release of the sim, there are some odd AI issues that needs ironing out. Last night i populated the dam, bridge and surrounding areas with enemy Armour, AA and the like. I hit a ZSU 23/4 from a few miles out with a Hellfire and some of the other vehicles immediately dispersed (standard practice) which involves a couple driving off the dam and falling into the water ha ha ha ha, i think il be sending that in as a bug.

It wasn't a bird poop, it was some poor bug that I hit on takeoff and got mangled up in the prop before hitting the windshield, must have been pretty bug since it make a thunk when it splattered
