Skips Tracks

Hi All, I'm new to the group.

I have a DS3 1.6HDI 2011, i'm having an issue with my Ipod when playing through the radio, i switched it off random, however when i press either skip on the radio or the stalk on the steering column it skips tracks, for instance starts off on track 1, press next track, jumps to track 3, press next track, jumps to track 5 and so on, i cant find anyway of getting to the tracks in between or even getting to the next track in sequence. Any ideas?

Guessing its a setting of somekind, or software needs rebooting
