  • Concrete floor finish

I’ve recently had a garage built and I am finding that patches of the concrete floor have an almost gritty/gravelly finish on the surface, even when I sweep it. I’m worried if I don’t seal it in some way then it would eventually wear in these parts and cause dips etc concrete sealing minneapolis

What would be the best way to seal these areas, or indeed the whole floor?

A concrete sealer or floor paint of some kind?

I want it to look good as well as be a functional garage as it’s also to be used as a garden room.

    thanks

    Hi,

We're planning a self build with an insulated EPS foundation and UFH on top, in the floor slab. Does anyone know if we can polish this floor slab up to make a polished concrete floor? and does this work out cheaper than say, tiling the floor, as we're not doubling up on materials?

    Thanks
