  • The "Name that Favourite Bit of Movie Dialogue" Game

OK, so here's a new movie-based game to liven up a cold & miserable Bank Holiday.

Simply identify the movie from which the line of dialogue comes from, inserting the missing word or words (signified by the dots), and if you get it right, you get to choose the next line of dialogue, etc etc

(The 'missing words' element is a vain attempt to make this game google-proof. It also lends itself nicely to double-entendres. It will probably end in tears, but here's an easy one to get the ball rolling...)

"You do know how to ..., don't you Steve? You just put your ... together and ... "

Might have guessed you'd get it!

Said by the sultry, ever-so-sexy Lauren Bacall (then still only 19 - Jeez!) to Humphrey Bogart:

"You do know how to whistle, don't you Steve? You just put your lips together and blow."

            Enjoy!

            Over to you, Arlow!

Not sure of the quote but is it from Spartacus?

                  Ben Hur?

(Apparently a film reviewer said of it, "Loved Ben, hated her" - the "her" was little-known Israeli actress Haya Harareet, who disappeared into well-deserved cinematic obscurity soon thereafter)
