This argument has never made sense in my book, ive always made my decisions for gfx cards based on performance and driver support. Whilst I still think NV provide more stable drivers (certainly for multiple GPU support) if I was buying a card right now I would go for a 290x as my watercooling look would remove that cards only achilles heal (the excessive heat it produces).

For 135 pounds, the 270x far outperforms anything NV has at that pricepoint.

Not intentional, or maybe it was, anyway the mug was from the London 2012 Olympics. I spent most of 2012 working in the UK and a large chunk of that in Stratford.
