soz sfg but i dont mind paying for peace of mind as mse had that java problem and ive never heared of the malwarebytes 1 so cant comment on that http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ cant go wrong if bitdefenders voted number1

I agree that's why I use a Malewarebytes Pro licence. After a fair bit of testing its the only AV/AM i would trust on my main rig, my work laptop and my HTPC. Less than £20 for 12 months for 3 licenses. As hard as ive tried on my test machine ive not been able to get it infected with anything, its impervious to ransomware. When i intentionally infected the machine then Malwarebytes was able to remove it via a Safe Mode boot.

Anyway i digest, anything free is good (unless its an STD) but just be wary of what it can and cant do before surfing on questionable sites.
