Because Lego is the best invention in the world and you're never too old for it!

              Funny you should say that....

If you own any old Lego, you'll notice that some bricks will show signs of discolouration over the years, and will have gained a fine layer of what I call "Lego plaque".

After going through my old Lego, I found that many of the pieces showed their age, some over 20 years old! I will eventually be cleaning most of my very old collection using the trusty warm water and soap trick, but one method I've found that works an absolute treat, especially in tight areas or odd-shaped bricks, is to break out some ordinary fluoride toothpaste and my trusty oscillating electric toothbrush!

I'll be testing this on printed parts soon but I suspect that any print will be removed in the process - I have however, had great success cleaning coloured bricks this way. It is a little time consuming, but is very effective.

              Check it out...

Cleaning Lego parts with an electric toothbrush

A very effective way to remove stubborn grime from old Lego parts

Break out some ordinary fluoride toothpaste and an oscillating electric toothbrush (don’t use your daily toothbrush, find an old, worn out toothbrush head)…

Before and after shot of Classic Space old grey radar dishes, both 15 to 20 years old…

The oscillating action of the toothbrush, combined with the light abrasiveness of the toothpaste works well to remove the grime.

Normal tooth brush works well too

              As well as cotton buds

2BM not being observed here though at Legoland

              This may help you SFG??

I think you get a free pair of these if you mention Lego to the Vauxhall dealer

Well done on your tombola win pal. A really great, easy to use product, perfect for your white car.

Can feel the rear wheels rubbing on the inner arches on my journey home 😉
