I just (last week) had two dental implants fitted (I specify 'dental' so all you perverts out there don't start!!)

long incision, 2x drillings into lower jaw bone, 2x metal screws into said bone, 5x stitches.

didn't feel a thing.

a bit sore afterwards, but nothing that the odd ibuprofen couldn't handle.

1 week later, (almost) all healed up, just two shiny flat bolt heads on the gum, where the new gnashers will go.

job's a good 'un!

These are way cheaper and they are not as restrictive from what I have read.

I will be trying it out tomorrow on my scream booth at work. Can leave the camera on the tripod then pull the pics off the card easily.

I'll let you know how I get on.
