Sorry Superfly Guy, item was a standard D Sport style rest so I didn`t think it was worthy of a link or photo attachment as they are fairly common, just a bit cheaper on the web.

Roger, mine never came with an aluminium footrest, maybe they didn't on the early 2010 models. I'm looking for one but might just fabricate it instead.

Thanks mate, trouble is my carpet has worn where my left foot has rubbed whilst operating the clutch so I might need a footrest that also has a 90 degree bend. Il knock one up when I'm home, a small sheet with thin foam backing (drilled on the footrest area obviously).

That`s the same style as the one I fitted,so easy to position and fit and so much better than a mound of carpet next to your left foot! Every DS3 should have one as standard equipment really.

Ordered Wind Deflectors today....being delivered Saturday so will fit them when they arrive! Seeing all the great DS3 variants on Sunday set off my mental shopping / to do list for mine....Strictly D.I.Y, where possible, it is cheaper to do and much more satisfying than paying for fitment.

Deflectors On, time taken to fit 5 mins. Keep windows shut for 12 hrs to bed them in. Should not be a problem today as it is raining here! :/
