About 3 months ago I had a very slight bump, we were both doing less than 10MPH but it was my fault. We exchanged details etc and I informed my insurance and paid to get my car fixed. I never heard anything back and just assumed due to the fact there was no damage to his car he had just left it.
However today I have received a letter saying that my insurance have just received a Personal injury claim. I have been completely honest in the whole process so assume I have nothing to worry about other than loosing my no claims, and my insurance say they are going to investigate due to the time between the claims, so I'm just wondering what my chances are of managing to keep my no claims, I mean he's not claimed for any damage to his car (Obviously as there was none) so I don't know how anyone could actually believe he is hurt?
I assume one of those companies have just rang him up and he's gone along with it, as they ring me too since I told my insurance asking about the crash I was in, I just hope this isn't going to cost me big now due to one mans false claim.
