I live in an area where arse holes are everywhere so I try to get along with everyone. It's far better to forgive the noisy neighbours, smile politely when I come across the local yobs and have even (once, and never again) abandoned my morals and integrity, and bought cigarettes for the local thugs. And I've done this for one reason....... Because I've got a decent car outside and want to keep it that way! And after biting my tongue on more occasions than I care to remember, some twat has put 2 inch scratch on my beautiful paintwork. Nevertheless my firm belief in "what goes around, comes around" pushes me on. Even if I have to spend the next 2 days camping on my window ledge.
So I'm moving........ Decided......... Right now....... Tonight......... I'm moving on.

    Sorry to hear this pal.

Unwritten rule, you don't touch another mans motor

This is what a fellow DW member woke up to the other morning. Unbelievably the very morning he was returning the car to the lease company 😬😬

              Borrow my shotgun?

Seriously - MOVE! Quality of life is everything. I would sooner live in a small house in a nice area than a mansion in a shitty one!
Where are you now and where are you thinking of going?

Had the same sort of trouble myself 4 years back with my previous car. Wing mirror smashed off, and 2 foot long keyed scratches on each side of the car, as well as an attempt to get the petrol cap off. Since moved to a village with no local pub within easy walking distance, plus in a close so don't get passers by going by. Feel for you. Move ASAP if you can.

It's ridiculous that you need to move. Nobody should be acting like this towards other people's stuff. Just jealousy. Hope you find somewhere better.

Just taken a pic of the scratch (which I know doesn't look as bad as some) but I've only had it for just over a month!
I've seen a few of these "magic pen" scratch removers on eBay so the scratch might be easier than I thought to fix. Have you seen them? But when I look at it from different positions, it looks like it's been pressed on hard, slightly 'kinking' the metal.

If you have any ideas on how to make it look okay, I'd appreciate it.

Oh, and on a happier subject I've just given it a clean and couldn't resist showing it off to y'all. :-)
