  • 20 mph speed limits - Manchester

A third of Manchester roads are now subject to 20 mph speed limits. from today. The move is to reduce the number of accidents....
    from https://www.facebook.com/granadareports?fref=nf

Not too sure if it will work, slower speed, more traffic, longer waits. Accidents will still occur.

    What do you guys think?

Had it in Brighton for over a year- awful
    More and more roads converting
Stops people bothering to go into town to do a days shoping, that and the super high park charges

As said, won't work, the only time there should be a 20mph limit anywhere is outside a school / nursery etc.

I reckon its here to stay- even the Police have started enforcing, when they said at first they didnt have the staff
Its spreading further away from the centres too- almost 3 mile away from centre at the mo
