  • Plumbing advice please.

    Ok,
    1) Everything worked fine yesterday

    2) Nothing has been changed, altered, amended, touched.

    3) I installed an outdoor tap running from the last part of the cold water line to the outside via some 15mm tubing and elbow joints.

    4) The 15mm tubing connects to the cold water supply via a brass connector that self taps into the pipe.

    5) Used it to power wash the decking yesterday and worked (supplied water) for over an hour without fault

    6) Everything worked fine yesterday

    7) Nothing has been changed, altered, amended, touched.

So, I turn the tap on just now and nothing, there is no feed from (at least) the brass connector, the washing machine is also on the same loop and is being supplied water as it the sink in the kitchen.

Im thinking the check valve has somehow shut off the supply, however getting to it means removing the hounds bed and the wooden raised platform it stands on, a pain in the hoop 20 min task (hound lives in a downstairs loo I converted for him, please see attached).

Right, no sooner had a taken the dogs palace apart have I sorted this, the tap on the brass connector (located between the supply pipe and the 15mm tubing had shut (I think due to back pressure from the washing machine being used maybe). a few turns to the fully open, a small 'thud' and we have water flowing.
