  • 60k Service today

Is it too much to ask for? Dropped my car off this morning at Citroen Oldham at 8.30am for a service and to collect a courtesy car. Car given to me was frozen solid and obviously not moved since Friday/Saturday last week. Gutted but happy I had my Tescos Clubcard to use as an ice scraper. Would you have gone back inside and asked them to de-ice it or would you have just do what I did and begrudgingly do it yourself?

Used the obligatory Do Not Wash Sign which was surprisingly observed and during the day received via email a health check list and a walk around video from under the car showing the broken exhaust bracket which was very impressive to say the least (video not bracket)

To be honest, I wouldn't have expected it to be defrosted for me.

With that side, to go that extra mile for customer service. What they could do is, once you arrive, a tech or someone could go and start the car and defrost it while you sign papers/hand over keys etc, or get a confirmation time of your arrival and as you say, they have it prepped and ready for you to go.

Oh to live in a perfect world. Looking forward to receiving my post service survey. Apparently anything less than a 9 score isn't good news.

If your car is under warranty still the exhaust bracket should be covered as its a known fault on DS3. A note on de-icing we shove the courtesy cars under the hot jet wash great way to de-ice them :-)

Car is only two years old but obviously as it had gone in for its 60k mile service was just out of warranty by 189 miles
