    Welcome to the club

I'm sure Andy will be along shortly to recommend some products to bring it back to black.

If the paintwork is beyond saving (unlikely) then a vinyl wrap might be the answer.
Most likely just needs a machine polish though.
Welcome by the way - where are you based?

A machine polish should sort it out. The famous vauxhall red which fades as soon as it's out of the dealership can be rescued to look as good as new with a good polish.

Polish sounds like an idea for me to, the roof on mine (carmen red), I noticed the last couple of washes is starting to take on a slight white/grey tinge, really only noticeable straight after a wash and in reasonable light. Same age car as the OP too.

Only a couple of years ago my neighbour had a brand new Vauxhall Corsa which started off Red but literally went pink, so much so that she gave it back after a few months and got Blue Metallic instead.
