Brum is now two and a half years old. 15700 on the clock. but shes starting to get lots little problems. driving along the other day at 60mph the wing mirrors starting folding and unfolding, doors locking and unlocking, seat belt and airbag lights flashing. couple of days later temp gauge shot to boiling then wouldn't move off cold. took it in to the dealer on the 15th. they said couldnt find anything wrong, just topped up the coolant.
Then on the 30th checked coolant level completely empty. so filled it up to the max line. two days ago tryed to start her up took three long attempts and the final time gave it a bit of gas got a huge cloud of blue grey smoke out the back. so took it in yesterday all i got was they cant find a leak in the coolant but may be the blue black smoke is something to do with the coolant. sooooo unhelpful.

I would say head gasket too. Is there oil in the header tank. Also is there droplets of water on the dipstick. The reason they cannot find the leak. Well a visual leak is because it is getting into the cylinders via hole/ crack in the head gasket.

                  thanks kev.
Iv checked the dipstick no water. they said they did a pressure test on the coolant, and that it was ok.

Well its been in over night, they want it back on the 22nd so they can do a pressure test on a gasket, they never said which one. Im thinking head gasket. Is this covered by the warranty? or is it gona be a big bill for me?

iv got it back again. They have fitted a new coolant sensor. Lets see if that works, i'm not so sure, there so unhelpful and unfriendly at that place, they haven't even given me a work sheet to show what work they have done.

Fingers crossed they have found the fault. But time will tell.
